Steven Tyner on the journey from personal motto to brand, and why the mission hasn't changed.
IWRITELIFE started as three words I wrote on a wall when I had nothing. No backing, no blueprint, no guarantee. Just a refusal to let my environment write my story.
I grew up seeing the same dead-end paths trap too many people. Broken support, limited choices, the weight of environment. I changed the only thing I could: my mindset.
The brand didn't start with fashion. It started with music, then design, then code, then words — all at once, all feeding each other. IWRITELIFE was the thread that connected every lane.
When I decided to put it on fabric, I knew two things: the quality had to match the message, and the message had to be universal. No one needs another logo tee. Everyone needs a reminder that they own their narrative.
Today, IWRITELIFE is more than clothing. It's a platform, a studio, a runway, a research engine. It's every tool a creator needs to thrive — because thriving is non-negotiable.
My Life. My Art. My Way.
